Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle Near Temple Avenue Saturday
Pomona, CA (January 22, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of State Route 57 and Temple Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles initially collided in the northbound side of the highway in Pomona. Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a blue Nissan and a white Toyota Corolla.
Due to the force from the impact, one car careened towards the direction of the shoulder of the freeway. The vehicle reportedly hit the person walking or standing in the area.
CHP logged the case Saturday at about 6:25 a.m.

When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian found with injuries. An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives stated at the scene the whole morning to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the pedestrian accident on State Route 57 at Temple Avenue.
