Big Rig Truck, Pedestrian in Crash on Interstate 10 Freeway
POMONA, Calif. (April 11, 2019) — A pedestrian was struck by a semi-tractor trailer truck on the northbound Interstate 10 Freeway.
The crash took place about 2:43 p.m. on Thursday near North Towne Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities stated they believe the man pulled over his SUV, exited the vehicle and was struck by the truck. The truck driver reported that the man stepped in front of the truck. The man was found laying on the righ shoulder and paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help him. His condition was not listed in the CHP report.
The truck may have also collided with three SUVs, according to the CHP report.
The crash remains under investigation to determine fault.
