POMONA, California (August 22, 2016) – A pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Garey Avenue and Fourth Street early Saturday, according to onscenevideo.tv.
The incident took place just before 2:00 a.m.
As per onscenevideo.tv, the pedestrian was struck by what witnesses described as a Honda Civic. The victim was initially transported y ground ambulance to Brackett Airport in La Verne where he was then flown to USC Medical Center.
The patient, whose name has not been yet disclosed, was reportedly listed in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the driver involved did not stop to render assistance and fled the scene. Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to locate the suspect.
