Yolanda Porter, 55, ID’d as Woman Hit by Car in Pomona Pedestrian Accident
POMONA, California (March 28, 2016) — Yolanda Porter, 55, of Pomona was killed Sunday night when she was struck by a driver on Reservoir Street, just north of Phillips Boulevard, according to a report by the Pomona Police Department.
The fatal pedestrian car crash took place about 10:10 p.m. last night. Police say the driver of a Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on Reservoir Street when they struck the woman who was in traffic lanes. The woman did not survive her injuries and died at the scene.
Police closed down Reservoir Street between Phillips Boulevard and Grand Avenue to conduct an investigation into liability for the fatal crash.
