Injury Traffic Collision on Ronald Reagan Freeway Saturday
Porter Ranch, CA (December 15, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Route 118, also known as Ronald Reagan Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the westbound side of the freeway near Reseda Boulevard. Initial records indicated the accident left a white Toyota Sequoia disabled on the right-hand shoulder of SR-118. Officials said the other vehicle accelerated and fled the scene after the collision.
Shortly after 7:38 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the location. Responding medical personnel attended to all the occupants in the Toyota Sequoia. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck.
Hit-and-Run Suspect Arrested After Collision in Porter Ranch, December 11
The CHP log mentioned officers spotted the suspect in a green Toyota pickup truck traveling at a high rate of speed on Reseda Boulevard offramp. Police pulled over the pickup driver, and detained them in relation with the hit-and-run crash.
Further investigation on the car accident on State Route 118 in Porter Ranch is ongoing.
