PORTERVILLE (July 25, 2016)- According to the Fresno Bee, a major injury collision occurred Saturday morning at the intersection of Avenue 128 and Road 208.
The collision happened at 9:25 a.m. as the driver of a 2015 Kia identified as Mikayaly Cabias, 21, of Las Vegas, headed westbound on Avenue 128 and approached Road 208. Cabias and Cheyenne Mason, 23, as she drove a Chevy vehicle.
Mason suffered serious injuries and required transportation to Sierra View District Hospital, where she is expected to survive and recover.
Cabias and all three of her passengers were hurt with injuries ranging from moderate to very serious.
Maeganne Cabias, 19, was seriously injured after being ejected from the vehicle while Fema Cabias, 24, and Brandie Tomas, 21, both suffered moderate injuries.
All four parties were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
Per the Fresno Bee, police officials do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in this incident.
