1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Collision at Main Street and Locust Avenue
Porterville, CA (September 7, 2022) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred in the area of Main Street and Locust Avenue.
Your Central Valley published an article online reporting a traffic collision involving a pickup truck and car. Preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the truck run a stop sign at the intersection of Main and Locust.
As the truck sped through the crossing, it crashed into another car. The incident took place Wednesday at approximately 8 a.m.
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the driver of the truck sadly died in the collision.
The 19-year-old driver of the car, and her passenger both sustained injuries in the wreck. Paramedics rushed the patients to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the accident happened at Main Street and Locust Avenue in Porterville.
