1 Injured in Porterville Crash at Olive Avenue and Newcomb Street
PORTERVILLE, CA (June 8, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Olive Avenue and Newcomb Street in Porterville.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday night. Officers reported the wreck on June 7 at about 9:22 p.m.
According to their dispatch team, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Porterville. They crashed at the intersection of West Olive Avenue and South Newcomb Street.
Car Collision Near Highway 65
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 65. They found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Olive Avenue and Newcomb Street to close following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Porterville crash.
