Porterville crash Success Drive
1 Seriously Injured in Porterville Crash on Success Drive Near Corner Street
PORTERVILLE, CA (August 27, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on East Success Drive in Porterville.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred late Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:30 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Porterville. They crashed at 1520 East Success Drive near Corner Street.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars involved as a red Toyota Corolla and a blue Chevrolet Malibu. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of East Success Drive to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Porterville crash is still under investigation.
