1 Killed in Traffic Collision on State Route 190 at Road 208 Friday
Porterville, CA (April 9, 2021) – One person died following a road accident in the area of State Route 190 and Road 208 Friday morning.
The ABC30 News reported a semi-truck carrying two empty trailers collided for an unknown reason with a a Chevy Suburban. Per news article published online, the horrible crash took place west of Porterville in Tulare County.

At approximately 7 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the scene. A short time after the incident, authorities confirmed one person sadly died. Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
It remained unclear at this time whether there were other injuries in the collision.
Responding Caltrans crews shut down part of Highway 190 to give way to the investigation process. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the deadly car and truck accident in Porterville happened.
