Motorcyclist Injured in Crash Near Success Lake on State Route 190
PORTERVILLE, Calif. (Nov. 14, 2024) — A major injury motorcycle accident in Porterville happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 190 (SR-190), just east of Success Valley Drive.
The two-vehicle collision occurred near the Tule Recreation Area – Success Lake entrance around 2 p.m. on Nov. 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the driver of a white Honda Accord collided with the motorcyclist due to unknown circumstances.
The Tulare County Fire Department responded and located the injured motorcycle rider down in traffic lanes. They transported the rider to a hospital for further treatment of major injuries.
Tow trucks removed the damaged bike and the Honda from the roadway.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 190.
