Motorcycle Accident in Porterville at Road 208 and Avenue 136
PORTERVILLE- A major injury crash was reported Thursday morning at the intersection of Rockford Road (Road 208) and Scranton Avenue (Avenue 136), per the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials were notified of the collision which occurred at 7:48 a.m. involving a motorcycle and what was described to have been a gray Honda.
Tulare FD arrived at the scene accompanied by paramedics to assist at least one party which the report indicated to have been the motorcyclist who had suffered serious injuries.
The unidentified rider was rushed to a hospital for treatment and remained in an unknown state as the rider’s condition was never disclosed.
Meanwhile, there were no reports of any other injuries to the driver of the other vehicle involved.
At least one towing company, Wallace Towing, appeared on scene to remove the at least the motorcycle from the road.
No further details have been provided at this time while CHP officials investigate.
