Pregnant Woman Injured in Bloomington Hit-and-Run at Cedar Avenue and Valley Boulevard

BLOOMINGTON, CA (July 2, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pregnant woman at Cedar Avenue and Valley Boulevard in Bloomington.

The California Highway Patrol dispatch team received a call about the accident late Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:45 p.m.

According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Bloomington. They crashed at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Valley Boulevard.

2 Vehicles Collide in Bloomington

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Cedar Avenue and Wrangler Drive. They found a pregnant woman who complained of pain as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for further treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to help the woman and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.

The cause of the Bloomington hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
