The two vehicles collided at precisely 11:05 p.m., where one of the drivers who may have been in a Dodge Durango immediately fled the scene following the collision.
The crash left a pregnant victim injured requiring her to be transported to UCSD Medical Center with unknown injuries, per NBC News San Diego.
National City police officials are currently investigating the collision and believe that the hit-and-run vehicle may have been street racing leading up to the collision.
