Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Prunedale
PRUNEDALE, Calif. (Sept. 2, 2021) — A multi-vehicle Prunedale car accident happened Thursday morning on Highway 101.
The crash took place about 5:50 a.m. on Sept. 2nd near the Crazy Horse Canyon Road off ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white flatbed Ford pickup truck, a blue Toyota and two other vehicles were involved in the collision.
One of the vehicles crashed underneath the truck and became stuck, police said.
Someone called 911 for an ambulance and paramedics responded to Highway 101 to help the injured from the Prunedale car accident.
Tow trucks removed at least two of the damaged vehicles from the scene.
By 7:20 a.m., police reopened traffic lanes after moving all the vehicles to San Juan Road.
