1 Injured in Prunedale Crash at Castroville Boulevard and San Miguel Canyon Road
PRUNEDALE, CA (August 16, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Castroville Boulevard and San Miguel Canyon Road in Prunedale.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Monday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 9 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Prunedale. They crashed at the intersection of Castroville Boulevard and San Miguel Canyon Road.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a small gray sedan and a silver Toyota Camry. Both obtained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Manzanita County Park. They found one person who complained of pain to their hips as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to the Natividad Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Castroville and San Miguel Canyon to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Prunedale crash.
