Prunedale Crash San Miguel Canyon Road (CRG12) at Moro Road

PRUNEDALE, Calif. (August 12, 2026) — Two SUVs were involved in a crash today in Prunedale on San Miguel Canyon Road (CRG12) at Moro Road and the vehicles were blocking the roadway.

The traffic accident occurred around 2:03 p.m. on August 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials responded to the scene and located the drivers of a grey SUV and a white SUV. Paramedics were requested to help at least one person with injuries following the collision. A juvenile from the white SUV was having trouble exiting the vehicle after it reportedly hit a light pole during the crash. The grey SUV was facing northbound in the center divider.

Meanwhile, there were fluids leaking from the vehicles in the roadway and tow trucks were responding.

The cause of the crash and liability is under investigation.
