Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man on Highway 101 at Prunedale South Road Friday
Prunedale, CA (July 16, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred in the area of Highway 101 early Friday, the Pajaronian News reported.
Our sources indicated a Toyota sedan and a Honda sedan collided on Highway 101, just north of Highway 156.
Following the car crash, a male driver reportedly exited his vehicle. A passing car then struck the man in the area just north of Highway 156 and Prunedale South Road.

Shortly after 5:30 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found one person lying on the ground. Responding medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the man, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
No immediate information was available on the driver who struck the pedestrian.
The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
