Quanah Sapien, 56, Victim in Fatal Pedestrian Accident
LOCATION: Santa Rosa
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, October 1st
October 2, 2018- According to the Press Democrat, a deadly pedestrian versus auto collision left a woman identified as Quanah Sapien, 56, fatally injured last night.
The incident took place at around 7:00 p.m. on Piner Road near Walgreen’s and the Park Vue Apartments.
Pickup Truck Fatally Injured Pedestrian Woman
Santa Rosa authorities report that Quanah Sapien had been crossing the road which was brightly lit by street lights before being struck by a pickup truck driven by Keith Roberts, 35, of Santa Rosa.
Sapien sadly did not survive the collision and succumbed to her injuries shortly after the collision.
Per the Press Democrat, Roberts was uninjured from the incident and nor was he determined to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Santa Rosa police officials are in the process of determining liability as there are many factors that are still being assessed at this time.
