QUINCY (August 10, 2016)- According to the ChicoER, Samuel Cota, 23, of Welton, AZ, sustained major injuries in a car crash Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Highway 70 when Joshua Perkins lost control of a Pacific Produce work vehicle as he headed westbound and veered into eastbound lanes into the path of Samuel Cota’s rented F-Ford 150 pickup truck.
The collision sent Cota’s vehicle spinning until it struck a guardrail leaving both him and his passenger, Brock Cottle, 30, of Bakersfield, injured.
Cota sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Plumas District Hospital while Cottle was hurt to a minor degree.
Per the article, Perkins was also badly injured and rushed to Enloe Medical Center.
