Motorcyclist Killed in Head-on Crash in Gardena
GARDENA, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2021) – Quintance Daniels, 47, of Duarte, died motorcyclist crash with a wrong-way driver motorist on a Gardena street.
Additionally, the deadly, head-on crash happened at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16th on Rosecrans Avenue at Kingsley Drive, according to the Gardena Police Department.
A woman driving a black Jeep was traveling westbound on Rosecrans Avenue. For unknown reasons, she collided with the center median near Kingsley Drive. Upon impact, her vehicle continued driving westbound and veered into oncoming eastbound traffic lanes. That’s where the Jeep collided head-on with the eastbound motorcycle driven by Quintance Daniels.
Sadly, Daniels suffered major injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the woman driving the Jeep to Harbor General Hospital for evaluation, according to police.
