
STUDIO CITY, Calif. (Feb. 6, 2023) – Raad Ibrahim Abdo, 70, of North Hollywood, died in a multi-vehicle crash early Monday on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Studio City.
The fatal collision occurred about 2:18 a.m. on Feb. 6th in the northbound lanes of the Hollywood Freeway, just south of Lankershim Boulevard, according to MyNewsLA and the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision.
One person involved in the crash suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the victim who died as Raad Ibrahim Abdo.
Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert at 2:46 a.m. and closed down all northbound lanes of the 101 Freeway. They diverted traffic off at Lankershim Boulevard.
Authorities are heading up an investigation into the cause of the Hollywood 101 Freeway crash in Studio City.
