Rachael Heather Fox, 47, Killed in Cahuenga Pass Crash on 101 Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 7, 2021) – Rachael Heather Fox was killed after a DUI crash on the 101 Freeway in the Cahuenga Pass.

The coroner’s office identified the 47-year-old Los Angeles woman as the victim of the fatal collision which occurred on Monday.

The incident began when Rachael Heather Fox collided her car with two other vehicles on the southbound 101 Freeway in the Cahuenga Pass.

She exited her car to check for damage in the No. 3 lane, north of the Pilgrimage Bridge. The California Highway Patrol said a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe approached the area and then struck her.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the victim down on the ground. Rachael Heather Fox sustained major injuries as a result of the 101 Freeway crash.

CHP confirmed that the woman died at the scene. The KTLA News and My News LA wrote that the accident took place on July 5 at around 4:40 a.m.

Meanwhile, officers determined that the 22-year-old Los Angeles man driving the Chevrolet was under the influence of alcohol at the time.

Authorities soon arrested the motorist, Adrian Castroramos, on suspicion of DUI. The Cahuenga Pass DUI crash is still under investigation.
