2 Passengers Killed in Car Crash on Highway 41 Monday

CARUTHERS, Ca (May 25, 2020) – Two people died, and another suffered injuries following a traffic collision on Highway 41 Monday.

According to FOX26 News, 25-year-old Tyler Woods of Fresno was at the wheel of a vehicle traveling north on SR-41. For reasons still unclear, Wood allowed their vehicle to drift off the roadway.

The car ended up crashing into a metal light pole near Conejo Avenue.

Deadly Car Accident in Caruthers, May 25

Shortly after 3 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the scene and found two passengers lifeless. Officials later confirmed both 35-year-old Rachel Krumm and 26-year-old Joseph Camacho died in the crash.

Meanwhile, Woods reportedly survived the mishap with major injuries.

Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the accident.
