Fresno Woman Killed in Crash Identified

FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2024) – Rachel Vanderpool, 41, died Tuesday night in a Fresno pedestrian accident on Cesar Chavez Boulevard at Third Street.

The deadly collision occurred around 6:10 p.m. on Nov. 19th, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.

The Fresno woman reportedly stepped off the center median into the the path of an oncoming eastbound motorist and was struck down.

The driver told authorities they were unable to stop and hit the Rachel Vanderpool.

Paramedics transported the injured woman to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident.
