Two Men Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash in Angeles National Forest
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2022) – Radja Putro, 19, and Anggoro Putro, 48, both died in a solo-vehicle crash on Angeles Crest Highway in the La Canada Flintridge area.
The fatal crash happened about 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16th at Mile Marker 47, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred when the vehicle went off the roadway and crashed about 20 to 40 feet down an embankment in the Angeles National Forest, according to the CHP.
The two men from South Pasadena were the only the occupants from the vehicle. They both died at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified them both on its website.
Investigators continue to work on the case.
