Rajendra Prasad, 70, Killed in Crash at El Camino and Santa Lucia
SAN BRUNO (January 10, 2019) – An elderly man in a wheelchair was killed after a traffic accident in the area of El Camino Real and Santa Lucia Avenue Wednesday morning, according to East Bay Times and NBC Bay Area.
San Mateo County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 70-year-old Rajendra Prasad, of San Bruno.
As per the reports, police said Prasad was crossing El Camino Real at Santa Lucia Avenue in a wheelchair when for an unknown reason he was struck by a van.
The vehicle was headed south on El Camino Real when it hit the Prassad shortly after 6 a.m.

Paramedics responded to the scene and immediately transported the man to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the van involved stopped after hitting Prassad and cooperated with the authorities.
