Ramandeep Sran, 48, Killed in Fresno County Crash Near Millerton and Marina
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 6, 2022) – Ramandeep Sran was killed after a DUI crash near Millerton Road and Marina Drive in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 48-year-old Kerman man as one of the victims in the wreck which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Ramandeep Sran was riding as a passenger in white Honda Accord going north on Millerton Road in Fresno County.
At the same time, a silver Hyundai Accent was heading south. CHP said the Hyundai crossed a double-yellow line and into the opposite lane near Marina Drive.
DUI Factor in Wreck
In the process, the Accent struck the Honda head-on near the Table Mountain Casino. The Fresno Bee and Your Central Valley wrote that the accident occurred at about 4:30 a.m.
Ramandeep Sran ended up ejected from their car as a result of the crash. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The other two occupants of the Accord survived with major injuries. CHP added that the four people in the Hyundai also died following the collision.
Meanwhile, officers believed that alcohol played a role in the incident. The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
