2 Drivers Killed in Head-on Vacaville Crash on Hwy 113
SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. (July 25, 2018) — Ramon Lopez, 24, of Vacaville, has been identified as one of two people who died Friday in a collision on Highway 113 near Hay Road in Vacaville, according to a report by The Reporter. The first victim was already identified as Lynne Waite, 74, of Brentwood.
The crash took place about 4:50 p.m. on Friday. Lopez was the driver of a Mini Cooper that collided head-on with a KIA sport utility vehicle driven by Waite.
It’s unknown what circumstances led to the collision between the two vehicles. The crash is under investigation by police to determine who was responsible.
