1 Injured in Ramona Crash Near Watt Road and Wikiup Road
RAMONA, CA (June 12, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash near Watt Road and Wikiup Road in Ramona.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck on June 11 at about 6:25 p.m.
According to their dispatch team, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Ramona. They crashed near the intersection of Watt Road and Wikiup Road.
2 Cars Collide Friday
CHP described the cars involved as a black Volkswagen and a silver Ford. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. They took the patient to the Palomar Medical Center Poway for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Watt and Wikiup to shut down following the crash.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Ramona collision.
