Boy, 17, Killed in Car Accident at Arena Drive and Arena Way Sunday
Ramona, CA (June 15, 2021) – A 17-year-old boy died following a car crash in the area of Arena Drive and Arena Way Sunday night, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
Officials said the teenager was behind the wheel of a pickup traveling on the streets of Ramona. Preliminary investigation revealed catastrophic incident happened when the Ford F-150 truck and a Honda Civic drove at the same time into the intersection Arena Drive and Arena Way.
Shortly after 7:15 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the accident scene. First responders found the Ford overturned due to the force from the impact.
The article published online indicated the 17-year-old driver was ejected during the collision. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the 55-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Honda sustained minor injuries from the collision.
