RAMONA, California (September 6, 2016) — A 33-year-old motorcycle rider suffered major injuries Tuesday afternoon in a collision with a pickup truck on Dye Road at Duraznitos Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
Per the report, the motorcyclist was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson traveling behind a woman driving a Toyota Tacoma.
The woman driving the Tacoma slowed down to make a turn. At the same time, the 33-year-old rider attempted to pass the vehicle on the left side resulting in a crash.
The unidentified victim was thrown from his Harley onto the ground and suffered serious injuries requiring him to be flown to Palomar Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
