Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Ramona Crash on Old Julian Highway
RAMONA, CA (June 11, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Old Julian Highway in Ramona.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team received a call about the accident on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:42 p.m.
According to CHP, a black Toyota sedan and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in the city of Lodi. The two crashed at 25643 Old Julian Highway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Poppaea Vineyard. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of a broken shoulder. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a portion of Old Julian Highway to shut down following the wreck. They did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped after the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Ramona crash.
