1 Injured in Rancho Cordova Crash at Sunrise and Kiefer Boulevards
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (January 13, 2021) – A car crash injured at least one person at Sunrise and Kiefer boulevards in Rancho Cordova.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident as a head-on collision last week on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on January 8 at about 3:16 p.m.
According to their dispatch, three vehicles head-on for an unknown reason at the intersection of Sunrise and Kiefer boulevards.
Head-On Multi-Car Collision in Rancho Cordova
CHP described the three cars as a black Toyota Prius and a green Toyota Tacoma and a gray Toyota Tacoma. Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene.
Medical personnel found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they suffered upon impact.
The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, officials forced the road to close following the accident.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the crash.
