Major Injury Collision US-50 at Zinfandel Drive Monday
Rancho Cordova, CA (September 13, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a sweeper truck occurred Monday evening on Highway 50, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated the sweeper truck crashed into the back of another big truck. The force from the impact resulted in significant damage to the rear-end of the cargo truck carrying an 18,000 pound weight.

Shortly after 1:50 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. First responders immediate checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma in the collision. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
