RANCHO CUCAMONGA, California (April 2, 2014) – Paramedics were called to assist a pregnant woman who was possibly injured in a collision between a big rig truck and four passenger vehicles on the westbound 60 Pomona Freeway at Mountain Avenue, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 1 p.m., CHP officers responded to the crash that was blocking all traffic lanes on the 60 Freeway. Police called for Ontario Fire Department paramedics to assist a pregnant woman as a precaution. She was an occupant of a van that was involved in the San Bernardino County car crash.
“People who are hurt in a car accident should see a doctor immediately after a collision to ensure a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Police will issue an accident report for this collision identifying the party or parties at fault. Once liability is determined, anyone injured as a result of the accident could have a legal claim.”
