Semi Fatally Hits Man on Eastend Avenue
Rancho Cucamonga, CA (June 12, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on Eastend Avenue on June 6, Monday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a big rig struck an individual in the 11852 block of Eastend Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga. The CHP logged the case at about 12:08 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a person lying in the roadway. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the semi truck involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the fatal crash on Eastend Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga.
