Truck Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near Beech Avenue
Rancho Cucamonga, CA (April 9, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 15 on April 7, Wednesday.
According to Fontana Herald News, a male party was seen standing in front of a 2011 Lexus in the northbound side of I-15. For reasons still unclear, the pedestrian stepped aside and walked into the path of an oncoming 2018 Freightliner.
Earlier reports indicated the truck hit the man in the number four lane of the freeway in Rancho Cucamonga.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15 in Rancho Cucamonga
Shortly after 11:08 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders found the victim lying in the roadway. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident on Interstate 15 in Rancho Cucamonga.
