At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision on Foothill (210) Freeway Wednesday
Rancho Cucamonga, CA (September 15, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred Wednesday afternoon on the Interstate 210, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a silver Dodge Charger hit the rear of a motorcycle rider in the westbound side of I-210, also known as Foothill Freeway. The accident took place near Haven Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga.
The CHP logged the crash at about 5:20 p.m.
According to the CHP dispatch, the force from the impact caused the rider to be ejected onto the HOV lane. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to the man found lying on the ground. After evaluating the physical condition of the rider, authorities confirmed the victim sustained moderate to major injuries.

Investigators later mentioned the driver of the Dodge fled the scene after the accident. No immediate information was available on the suspect.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the identity of the hit-and-run driver in the Rancho Cucamonga crash.
