2 Injured in Rancho Mirage Crash at Los Alamos Drive and Ramon Road
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (May 25, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Los Alamos Drive and Ramon Road in Rancho Mirage.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 3:13 p.m.
According to their incident log, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Rancho Mirage. They crashed at the intersection of Los Alamos Drive and Ramon Road.
Car Collision Near 10 Freeway
CHP described the cars involved as a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a dark colored Honda Pilot. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the 10 Freeway.
Medical personnel then found two people who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. They took one patient to the Eisenhower Medical Center and the other to the Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Officials did not disclose their names and condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Los Alamos and Ramon to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Rancho Mirage crash.
