Pedestrian Killed in Rancho Mirage Crash Near Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Road
RANCHO MIRAGE (December 18, 2019) – A traffic collision killed a pedestrian in the area of Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Road on Wednesday.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department received a call about the fatal accident shortly before 5:20 p.m. It happened near the Rancho Mirage City Hall.
Deputies said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason near the intersection of Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Road.

Cal Fire – Riverside County Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the site and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
According to an article published by the KESQ News, the name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials forced the intersection to shut down following the tragic crash. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
