2 Badly Injured in Rancho San Diego Crash on Willow Glen Drive
RANCHO SAN DIEGO, CA (March 21, 2022) – Two were badly injured after a car crash on Willow Glen Drive in Rancho San Diego.
According to an article published by the FOX 5 News, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 9:25 a.m.
The incident began when for an unknown reason, a black Kia crossed the double yellow lines on Willow Glen Drive in Rancho San Diego.
In the process, the car slammed head-on into a white Toyota Camry. The California Highway Patrol said the Kia veered back into the westbound traffic lanes and then struck a gold Honda Accord.
Multiple Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the the 45-year-old driver of the Toyota and the 41-year-old motorist in the Kia hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took both patients to the Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, the 62-year-old Chula Vista man driving the Honda ended up unharmed following the wreck. CHP forced a stretch of Willow Glen Drive to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Rancho San Diego crash is still under investigation.
