Motorcyclist Randy Baker Jr., 20, Killed in Hesperia Crash at Main Street and I Avenue
HESPERIA (September 2, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision in the area of Main Street and I Avenue Monday.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 20-year-old Randy Baker Jr., a resident of Victorville.
According to reports by Victor Valley News and the sheriff’s department, Baker was riding a street bike east on Main Street when he collided with a Toyota Scion.
Motorcycle and Car Crash Near 76 Gas Station in Hesperia
Police said the Toyota Scion traveling west was making a left turn when the crash took place at about 11:38 a.m. near the driveway of the 76 gas station.
San Bernardino County Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the rider to Desert Valley Hospital where he later died.
Meanwhile, the female driver of the sedan stopped following the wreck and cooperated with the authorities. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
