Woman Dead, Two Injured in Southeast Fresno Crash Involving Camaro and Lexus

FRESNO, Calif.(June 30, 2025) — Rany Oeur, 72, of Fresno, died in a two-vehicle crash at Huntington and Chestnut Avenues Saturday morning in southeast Fresno.

Meanwhile, two men were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries following the collision at 10:30 a.m. on June 28th, 2025, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department.

Police say the crash involved a black Chevrolet Camaro and a white Lexus sedan. After the initial impact, the Lexus veered off the roadway and came to rest against a metal fence.

Firefighters had to extricate both occupants of the Lexus due to the severity of the damage. The driver, a 36-year-old man, sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. However, the 72-year-old woman who was with him died at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old male driver of the Camaro was also hospitalized and in stable condition.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash and which driver may have been at fault.
