Malcolm McCormick, 26, Arrested on DUI Charges After Crash
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 17, 2018) — Rapper Mac Miller, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after leaving the scene of a single-vehicle crash at Fryman and Brookdale roads, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The incident took place about 12:50 a.m. in the Hollywood Hills, police said. McCormick and two passengers fled on foot after the collision where the vehicle struck a curb and a power pole. The 26-year-old rapper allegedly got out of the vehicle and ran off, but was later arrested by police and posted $15,000 bail by 9:25 a.m.
The report did not state whether or not there were any injuries.

Police are investigating this collision as a suspected DUI. At this time, it’s unknown if anyone was injured or required medical attention.
