Raul Otiz, 30, Killed in Perris Bike Crash on Ramona Expressway
PERRIS (July 14, 2018) – A bicyclist killed after a traffic collision in the area of Ramona Expressway and Perris Boulevard on Friday has been identified as Raul Sangerman Otiz, according to The Press Enterprise.
Riverside County Coroner’s Office said the 30-year-old Perris man died after the accident which was reported just after 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Perris Boulevard.
As per the article, deputies reported that Otiz was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle on Ramona Expressway. A vehicle headed north on Perris Boulevard hit the cyclist who rode across the northbound lanes.

Otiz was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, officials added that the driver involved stopped and cooperated with the authorities following the crash. It was not immediately known whether or not that motorist was hurt upon impact.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
