Pedestrian Killed Indio Accident Avenue 44 and Circle Drive
INDIO, Calif. (October 29, 2020) – Raymond Cretin, 75, of Indio, in a pedestrian accident Wednesday night near Avenue 44 and Circle Drive in Indio.
Police received a call about the tragic accident at around 6:52 p.m. on Oct. 28th, according to The Desert Sun and KESQ News.
Cretin was crossing the road near the intersection of Avenue 44 and West Circle Drive. The incident occurred just east of Jackson Street and the Village Square Shopping Center.

Meanwhile, fire officials and paramedics responded to the crash scene where they located the injured man lying in the roadway. Unfortunately, the victim was critically injured and soon after the crash he was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the pedestrian was released by the coroner.
Police did not mention if the driver stopped and stayed at the site following the crash. The cause of the fatal accident remains under investigation.
