Raymond Rangel, 57, Killed in Crash Near Foothill Boulevard and Rancho Avenue
SAN BERNARDINO (December 26, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic collision in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Rancho Avenue Monday night.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased victim as 57-year-old Raymond Angelo Rangel, of San Bernardino.
According to a press release by the sheriff’s department, a vehicle struck Ranger for an unknown reason near the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and North Rancho Avenue.
Pedestrian Hit by Car in San Bernardino Monday, December 24
Paramedics responded to the site and found the man lying in the roadway approximately 464 feet south of the intersection as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel ultimately pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The fatal accident took place on November 24 at about 8:10 p.m.
Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the driver of the car involved stopped after hitting Rangel. The cause of the tragic incident remains under investigation.
