RED BLUFF, California (June 21, 2016) — Cody Fulk, 24, of Red Bluff, has been identified as the victim involved in a head-on crash early Tuesday morning on the westbound Highway 99 at Tyler Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The incident took place at 4:55 a.m. when 42-year-old Cameron Anderson turned in front of Cody Fulk.
Per KRCRTV, Fulk sadly sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene due to trauma injuries. Police officials say the 24-year-old had not been wearing a seatbelt.
Cameron Anderson informed authorities that she was in a hurry to get to work and attempted to beat a train causing her to collide with Fulk’s vehicle.
Anderson was hospitalized with minor injuries and will likely be held at fault.
