Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near River Park Entrance Saturday
Red Bluff, CA (November 27, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Saturday evening on South Main Street, the Red Bluff Daily News reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed a vehicle struck a 58-year-old man near the entrance of River Park. Officials said the motorist was traveling south on South Main Street when the male pedestrian entered the roadway. The man apparently attempted to walk eastbound across Main Street near River Park Way.

The oncoming vehicle failed to avoid and his the pedestrian. The article published online confirmed the man suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been revealed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine liability in the fatal pedestrian accident on Main Street in Red Bluff.
